My practice consists of appellate, post-conviction relief (state and federal), habeas corpus (state and federal), and probation, parole, and clemency analysis and advocacy (primarily Missouri).

This relies on my training in the portions of political science closest to law (Harvard Ph.D. and subsequent teaching), my legal education (Yale Law School), my experience of 11 years at the Missouri Attorney General's Office as well as 3 in the Missouri State Public Defender's Capital Division, and private practice from 1996 to 2006 and 2008 through the present.
